The Saybrook Manor Association is a Connecticut Special Taxing District (ref. CGS Sec. 7-324) created by a Special Act of the State of Connecticut in 1933 to care for and maintain the assets of the Association such as its beaches and clubhouse. The Special Act provides for Association revenues through a real estate tax on the assessed value shown on the Town of Old Saybrook Grand List.
